With 6 spots open to 6 lucky couples, commencing at 10am, and the last spot commencing at 3pm, couples and their guests can experience this iconic Bowen location. Our simple, registry style ceremonies will take the stress away from your ceremony and allow you to concentrate on the after party!

A registry style short and sweet pop up marriage ceremony, with the option to include your own personal vows. Pick your own entry and exit songs to make the ceremony memorable.
Celebrate with a maximum of 20 of your nearest and dearest family and friends. Your 20 guests includes children (under 2 year olds not included in the guest count)
Face to face (Bowen only) or Zoom completion of the Notice of Intended Marriage. Separate face to face meetings prior to the ceremony for the Declaration of Legal Impediment to Marriage.
We provide styled ceremony spaces our ceremony event days. Utilising either the natural surrounds of the venue or using one of our bespoke arches, along with a styled signing table.

Pay the booking fee as soon as possible. This will secure your spot and your requested time slot. We must face up to complete the legal requirements NO LATER than 1 month before the event to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage. If this is not completed 1 month before the event, a legal marriage ceremony is not able to be performed.
Yes, children are included. Babies under 2 are not. The couple getting married are not included.
Absolutely! And I can recommend some fabulous local photographers .
It's not required as I will guide you on the day and provide information in the lead up. There will also be an Event Coordinator to assist on the day.
Whatever you are comfortable with! You can wear a full ball gown or suit, to boardies and thongs. I mean it is North Qld! Its your day, wear whatever you want to make the day memorable for you.
100%. Pick an entry and an exit song. Let me know what they are and I will set up a Playlist to control the music on the day.
You sure can! You can walk down the aisle to your entry song and then back down the aisle to your exit song. You and your guests can have a few minutes of congratulations before having to move on to allow for the next group.
Your time slot is for 45 mins. The ceremony and the signing will take around 20 mins. At 45 mins you and your guests will be asked to leave the ceremony area for the next ceremony and their guests.
It depends on the location. For some locations you may have some onlookers and the public but I will have a dedicated, roped off area for the seating and the ceremony.
Oh stars, yes! Public speaking isn't for everyone. You will however have to recite legal vows. There are other ways to include personal vows on your wedding day and you can discuss these with me if the idea of speaking in front of a group of people makes you anxious.

I will supply and lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage. Your ceremony will be conducted by Georgina Rachel Black, Authorised Marriage Celebrant. Once the ceremony day has concluded I will register the marriage with Births Deaths and Marriages and order your Legal Marriage Certificate. Once registered, you will receive and email with a link to order and pay for that document.
You can have a Bride Tribe or a Groom Tribe if you want. In some cases, there may not be enough space for large wedding parties to stand up the front with you so please discuss with us if needed. Alternatively, you don't have to have a wedding party at all! It's completely up to you.

Due to recent legislation changes, your NOIM can now be witnessed over Zoom (if you are in Australia). If you live outside of Australia, you will need to book an appointment the local Australian Consulate or reach out to a Notary. In both of these cases, in our experience, can take a while to get an appointment so please book appointments as soon as possible to ensure that your NOIM is received by the Authorised Marriage Celebrant conducting your ceremony no later than 30 days prior to the ceremony date.
Unfortunately, no. A $200 booking fee is required to secure your date/time. Then once the NOIM has been completed, a fee of $200 is payable with the balance due 4 weeks prior to the ceremony. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for more information on the payment schedule
